Blog post #4; Gear


Hey,

another blog post is here. In the earlier posts, I shared brief information about the game, so in today's post, I will share the progress of current development.

Each proper hero needs a set of gear, without that further exploration of the cave could cost one its life. Therefore I am working on more gear.

So far I had weapons, and I am adding more categories of drops. The complete set will include a weapon, armour, head and accessory. In the current build, I am working on, one of the changes is how item comparison works. This event was on call before and it was so odd. Fewer button presses, the better. I sped it up and it's automatic.

*One of the latest changes that I implemented. When the hero hovers over a certain item, it now compares the items automatically. Works for armours now as well.

A task I am currently working on is a menu re-design, which will provide me with more space and opportunities. 

*Preview of how the equipment list can look. A hero can carry one item of each category at a time. Can you see a new section?
